For the Weekend of: May 10 to 11
Give (and get) a foot massage.
Spend a relaxing afternoon with your spouse giving, and getting, foot massages. You should both start by soaking your feet in a warm bath, and then trimming all of your toenails. Next, use peppermint-scented lotion to take turns working all of the kinks out of each other's sole supporters. In no time, you'll both be relaxed and ready for the tootsie-baring sandal season.

Clean the air in your home.
May is National Clean Air Month, so use the weekend to clean your air from the inside out. Open all of the windows in your home, keeping the screens in place, and let fresh air inside. Replace all of your old air filters with new HEPA filters, and vacuum the registers to get rid of any and all obstructions to your clean air. Make sure your air-conditioning unit is in top shape for the upcoming summer season, and use room fans until the temperatures rise to keep your home naturally cool.

For the Weekend of: May 3 to 4

Make a strawberry pie.
It's almost summer, and you know what that means: It's almost yummy summer pie season! Celebrate the return of the summer pie, as well as May being National Strawberry Month, by making a homemade strawberry pie. Visit the grocery store to pick up all of the supplies, or you could even pick strawberries from a local patch to use in your pie. Invite the kids into the kitchen as you prepare this summery treat, and enjoy!

Wash your car.
Sure, it's easy to wait for the spring rain to rinse off your car, but doesn't your car deserve more attention than that? Spend time this weekend truly cleaning your car, inside and out. Vacuum the seats and floor mats, wipe the dashboard and windows clean, and then get started scrubbing, rinsing, and waxing the exterior. Soon, it will be like there's a new vehicle in your driveway, and you'll feel great having a car that looks (and smells) new.

For the Weekend of: April 26 to 27

Get marching.
This weekend, the March of Dimes® March for BabiesSM happens in cities all over the country. The walk brings awareness and raises money for moms and babies, with a focus on funding research about premature births and birth defects associated with babies being born too early. Participate in the march, or find a local support center and give your money or time to support this worthy cause.

Try some Thai (chi).
Get ready to relax your mind and work your body when you try tai chi this weekend. You can find a local class that teaches this ancient "soft" martial art, or purchase a book or video to guide you through the moves. Tai chi uses slow, deliberate moves that focus on balance and muscle control, while leading the mind through simple meditation. You'll feel relaxed and rejuvenated when you study this time-honored exercise technique.
